Cova is owned and run by husband and wife James & Sonia.  The name is inspired by our 2 daughters’ names Carla & Olivia.

As a family and as a business we are absolutely committed to the service we provide and to the product we provide to new and existing customers.  We make sure that our business is fully committed to servicing the East Kilbride shopping centre with integrity, unsurpassed quality and superior service.  It’s fair to say that our fundamental and primary value is to please every single customer. (Numerous crepe-lovers and tourists alike have stated that the quality, texture, and taste of their crepes are the absolute best that they have experienced in their travels.) This also extends to employees and suppliers.

Cova has had a long and exciting journey to arrive to where we are today.  Our first venture was Crepes On The Go.  A small trolley based at Glasgow Airport.  Here we solely prepared crepes and they went down an absolute treat with travellers and staff.  It’s fair to say that the crepes ‘flew’ off the griddle!  This first venture took place in the summer of 2006.  This led to a huge leap in business where we took our venture to Kiosk 2 in the Centre West of East Kilbride Shopping Centre.  We now became Crepe Ole and started trading in October 2008.  As well as an expansive change to our crepe menu, we introduced a selection of Spanish tapas, that was inspired by Sonia (who is Spanish!) and also provided toasties, cold drinks and a fantastic Italian grounded coffee.  After trading for over 2 years, building up an unbelievable regular clientele and being nominated for ‘Best Newcomer’ in year 1 then ‘Best Restaurant’ in year two the opportunity arose to expand even further by the move to Kiosk 1 as Cova.
